Ashley is a third generation Realtor. In 1981, after a
change of direction from listing and selling real estate, with
widely renowned Auction experts, Gladding, Keys and Neil, Ashley
commenced working as a Trainee Manager with the leading Real Estate
Company of the day, Belton's Real Estate. Within a short period of
time, and having accepted the challenge, he was appointed Manager
of both the Remuera and Kohimarama branches. He later moved to
Mount Albert, an area he was familiar with, to take control of that
office. Ashley has never looked back! In 1988, he became an
Associate Member of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand, and
in 1991 he incorporated Goodwin Realty Ltd and bought the Mount
Albert office (then operating under the umbrella of United Realty
World).
Under Ashley's leadership, the Goodwin Realty Group has expanded,
from operating one office in Mt. Albert to now operating five
branches offices located in Avondale, Mt. Albert, Mt. Eden
(Dominion Road), Pt. Chevalier and Sandringham. In addition to
which, a dedicated Property Management Office operates from
Wellesley Street in Auckland's CBD.The height of
Ashley's success saw the Mt. Albert Branch awarded status of "No. 1
Office" across New Zealand for an unprecedented 13 times. In
addition to which, Goodwin Realty's Sales Team has featured on
multiple occasions in the Top 10 Offices across
Australasia.
